Bad boy Bougy

Post by mugen »

hi guys here is a bougy i collected from a demolition site a few months ago. I call it Bad boy bougy because i made a make shift hot house around it with industrial gladwrap lol. :)
It has some great natural deadwood and nice flaky bark, there is a big moundy base and some nebrari under the soil.
It has been throwing out new buds all over the shop at the moment :) sulked for while and now is going great guns!
Going to let it grow on for another year b4 i get into some carving and styling.
Any styling ideas welcome. :D

Nice one Mugen

Some good character and great bark. A bit too early to call on styles yet. As you said, let it grow and keep the branching in check for maximum production and then post again later. A lot of the dead wood may rot, but you can carve it soon if you wish.

Keep us posted.

Thanks Lennard :D yeah I was stoked with the base on this one when I found it, and it bulges out into a mor drastic taper Under the soil. Looking forward to it getting some vigor so I can repot on an angle to expose the taper an nebrari.
