That will do! AWESOME!!!
   :hooray:

The photographer should also be credited. Very fine work, notice the closest tips towards us are in focus. Very nice work indeed. :)

You still using the kit lens Leigh? You should have the collection invest in some "L" glass. It would take these great shots into the next level. Not cheap but since your shooting more than just "at home" it could really bring the best out of the trees.

I absolutely agree Mitchell - the Collection should invest in some L glass and a better body - hopefully Grant will see this post and we can put some pressure on those that organise our budget! I reckon they would welcome any donations - anyone know a Canon dealer who likes bonsai?

For this one I used my 500d with a 60mm macro lens.
Cheers,
Leigh.

Apollogies for the quality of the pictures, thats the next thing to buy. A good camera.
In the meantime, you can improve things with the help of Picasa. See below.
Congratulations on those lovely shohins in 'Pat Pots'! I look forward to seeing more after your photo session with Leigh.
Saw the semi-cascade 'live' last year and wasn't crazy about it. Still am not.

Incidentally, I had trouble finding this thread again after it was posted for the first time. So when are we getting a shohin section on this Forum???? Please????

Lisa

Hi Lisa,
I had to sift through 5 pages of results on a seach for "shohin section" to find it. So clearly nobody is interesteted in shohin trees enough to have a dedicated section :( :(

It's great to have you helping the cause Craig. I have been busy with a new job since December and haven't had the time to really nag about the Shohin forum like I know I should.

Cheers,
Mojo

:) am sure you would have looked after it till I came back to collect it.

Am also glad to have re-ignited the need for having a separate section for shohins. Thank you Craig for helping to make this a reality very soon.

Please Steven, lets have a SHOHIN section, pretty please with.... shohin on top. :) :worship:
