Fast grown ficus group
Two years ago when I first read about the "fast grow method" on this forum I planted three figs onto an old tree stump wrapped them in glad wrap and planted them into a bucket. The first two inches chicken manure and the rest pure diatomite.
Today was time to look.

I can't help but feel that I must have cheated.
Chiken manure (dynamic lifter) 5cm in the bottom of the bin and diatomite with monthly powerfeed dose.
No tropical climate (Melbourne)
No greenhouse
Give it a go
I expect to take a couple of years to build some ramification, then it will be 4 years old and ready to show.

Great work Gerard. What is your "powerfeed" recipe if you don't mind me asking? Also I've only just come across this "Fast grow method" discussion.... any chance you still have a link to the original thread?
cheers

Great work Gerard
Gotta love Figs. Nice placement on the rocks. 4 years will certainly give you great ramification.
Good to show what can happen quickly.
