Diy Pot

Post by Booga »

Gday all. Today I made a pot to use for a landscape scene, Its made from Plaster of paris and I used brickies sand for the mold, what a confusing job that was trying to work out what it was going to look like the right way up. It didn't quite work out the way I wanted it But it will do. It measures 710mm long with a water feature in the center, I dont even know weather it even suites bonsai :lost: What do you guys think.

Thanks for looking

You may need to seal the plaster of paris to stop it deteriorating. Great first try :tu:

Definitely Tony. Its very porous so I am planing on a flat lacquer to seal it, I don't think that I will paint it different colours though.
I think it must weigh at least 12kg because thats how much plaster I used and it still needs a bit more  $22.00 pot
