JBP tips of needles going brown rapidly :(

Post by stocaz »

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice if I've got a problem here or not ?
About half of the tree has suddenly got brown tips on the ends of the needles...
I had all my trees in the shade for 2 days as I was re-staining my deck &
It's been fairly warm in Melbourne.
Not sure if its that or something more sinister.
All my other JBP are fine just this one.

Any advice would be great.

Thanks Ross

I wouldn't be too concerned. The new growth looks fresh and happy. If the new growth starts to go brown, I'd say you have a problem. JBP like full sun, so.... other than that it doesn't look like you have a problem. Keep an eye on the tree and see how it is in a week.

I style Bonsai naturally, just as they would appear in the wild.
