Cheers, Pat

Re: Fun with colour....
Beautiful.
I especially love the colours in the red one but I don't think I'd be able to match a tree to it.
Great colours all round Pat nice job
Cheers,
Pearcy.

Awesome glazes! Particularly love the 3rd. Amazing translucent colour. You can post it straight up to my place.

Re: Fun with colour....
Well, there you go! Thankyou so much for your positive responses. I did hesitate before hitting the send button as I didn't think it (the colourful pots) was what folks would like to see.
My favourite is also the celadon (3rd pot),....I love its understated depth. I think I could dive in and lose myself in those microscopic bubbles....bearing in mind that it's the glaze that is the hero, not the 'dipper'.
Thanks again,
Pat

Re: Fun with colour....
Wow
The 3rd and 4th are beautiful pat. Lovely colours.
Are the shape of the pots an 'open envelope' or are they round?
It is hard to make out what shape the pots are, but the 3rd glaze is just so 'calm', it is lovely. The colour on the 4th is very pretty too. That one would look beautiful with an evergreen.
The 2nd glaze is always a delight, and I've seen a few of your pots with this glaze but I've never seen such a strong presence of the red....very nice.
But the last 2 are what blew my mind.
EDIT - Sorry Pat, I'm a twat
I just re-read your post and it said the shape was round by stating the size. Sorry, I'll read your posts in entirety next time. Can't help it, I'm like a kid in a candy store when I see new pots by you.

They're round, Rory... but I do intend to make some small ovals for the next firing.
