The minimum temperature here the other night was reported as being 1 degree.

While I may have an itch, it's certainly not being scratched at my place.

You need to look at the fig. If its strongly pushing out new shoots, then thats a good start. But I still wouldn't be doing it where I am right now. I don't cut back figs until about November ish for Sydney weather. Ive been burnt before from going too soon.

Yes! This one is screaming out to me to be done.
Dropped all its old leaves this week.
It will see some live scissor action this weekend.... Itch is gonna be scratched red raw...YIPPPEEEEEE!!!! :twisted:

I've done some in the middle of winter.
Repotted occasionally as well.
