ENGLISH ELM – SEMI-CASCADE

Just to continue the English Elm theme, here is one more, and probably the last for now. This tree was dug around 1995 in Canberra and the size hasn’t changed much over those years. Currently it is not quite a shohin, but it is close.

I quite like the pot it is in and my personal preference is for crescent shaped pots to have legs, although I realise that is not the view of most. This tree grows very slowly and I really do need to get some improved ramification and maybe consider moving, bending or removing the upright trunk.
