ENGLISH ELM – TWIN TRUNK

After a week off viewing English Elms its time to get back into them. This tree was dug in about 2006 in the Goulburn area so it has been out of the ground for some time. It is healthy and in the next month or so I will be doing some extensive wiring to the branches to set them in better positions. The ramification has some way to go but is progressing in the right general direction, but the soon to be improved branch placement should assist.

This is a twin trunk but it is difficult to see, but it is not your typical twin trunk style as the secondary trunk is taller than normal. I like to refer to this as a husband and wife style as opposed to a mother daughter or father son type.
