During the two workshops I had with Mauro Stemberger I was taught a great deal and never more so than the importance of correct wiring to enable branches to be set into the correct positions, something that is essential in the design aspect.

I have said many times now that the most impressive part of the experience was to watch and learn from his vision for design, his ability to see the bonsai within the tree that is presented to him.

But back to correct wiring:

You MUST get your wiring correct!

If its not right, take it off and start again

I am fairly sure he was just joking with me, but just in case he wasn’t I really concentrated on correct wiring techniques for the remainder of the day!
