SCHOOL OF BONSAI EXHIBITION 2016

I have said many times that I really enjoy getting out and seeing bonsai exhibitions that are put on by other bonsai society’s.

I appreciate the time, effort and energy that goes into these activities, and I always hope to pick up a few tips and tricks along the way by analysing the bonsai on display.

However it does seem like a constant comment that the lighting of most exhibition areas does not enhance the bonsai so that is a disappointment. This particular exhibition is held at the bonsai nursery of Ray Nesci and that is a big plus because you can see an exhibition and also buy any type of bonsai and bonsai accessory that you need, but the lighting makes it difficult to appreciate the quality of the trees and also to take quality photos.

The important thing over everything else is the trees however, and here are a few of my favorites from the exhibition.
