CHINESE ELM – BROOM STYLE

This tree was grown from a root cutting and has been with me for eight or nine years. It has very small leaves which is of course an asset for a small bonsai. It has been given a good hard trim and clean out to bring it back into the recognised shohin size and I hope the ramification will soon be back to how it was pre-trim.

The first photo is from 2016, and the second from 2017.

The after trim look.
