CANBERRA BONSAI SOCIETY EXHIBITION 2017

The annual show by the Canberra Bonsai Society was recently held and this year in a new location, and from my perspective the new location was a winner. The area available for display was larger and that allow the trees to be displayed in an improved manner from previous years, and there was more room for visitors to view the trees.

Now speaking of the trees, there were more good quality trees displayed than I had seen for many years, a very good overall improvement in the standard. There was also a distinct area for sales and that was also an improvement on previous years. I understand that all the sellers did very nicely and there little or no stock for them to take home at the end of the weekend. So, more sales, better display area, better quality trees, an all round winner!

Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera so all that was available was the phone, so I apologies in advance for the quality of some of the shots taken.
