If you want the triple --because of the reverse taper in the lower trunk I would airlayer at the widest part where the three trunks meet-I have made an assumption that privets air layer easily.
Was thinking the same as watto.
Kepp only 1 trunk and one of the smaller ones at that. Look for some movement in the junction and that will give movement and taper
Thanks for the feedback guys I was concidering reducing it down to one trunk .
How about the first picture as the front and the 2 trunks on the right removed .
It will have better taper and movement . Do u think the remaining trunk will need shortened?
I agree with Guy and the layer at the junction of the 3 lines. I think the scarring from cutting 2 off would not be desirable. You could carve the scar/s of course but you don't have a lot of thickness to work with to make a good enough feature of it I think. Also the trunk lines are not overly impressive on their own.
The first pic at least shows 3 lines that work together with the small one at the back for depth. It will layer easy enough and you would be good to go now with a layer. It will give you a broader base.

I kind of like the triple, but I think with the proposed new base (thickest are of trunk) being so close to the ground, I might slip it into something deep and ground layer instead of air layer. Different ways to get the same place in the end, so it would just be a matter of preference.
