Apologies I missed a few when trees were moved and a couple of blurry pics were omitted.

The Native bonsai symposium is to be hosted by the Victorian Native Bonsai Club next year. I believe this will be the first one outside Canberra and will coincide with next years exhibition.
It is all still in the planning stages but the organisers seem confident that it will go ahead about this time in 2015. That might be worth the drive.

I'm lost for words :worship:
What a group of plants to show in one place and to have 6 potters there at once!
We are so lucky --- first the market day then this ( what's next)
Thanks to all those involved and to Gerard for taking the photos  :tu:

Thanks for the effort Gerard, That would have taken a beer or two to load up. Wow, very awesome and, wow, not one casuarina.

The Native Show, Symposium and pots; all at the same place! I'll be there with bells on in 2015.

That was my exact thought too. A lot of beautiful pots and bonsai nonetheless.

If that is so, then I'll be flying myself over for that. That'll not be one to miss!

Thankyou kindly again for the photos Gerard, can't say how much i appreciate it :worship: :worship:

Great trees and excellent photos - for a club less than a year old, an exceptional display indeed. The dark plain background certainly makes for much better photographs!

Thanks for posting, and great kudos for the club.

You're not the first to note the lack of casaurinas; we discussed it on Sunday. I don't think a single raw stock casaurina on the sales tables sold, and quite possibly because people hadn't seen one in the show. We're all working on tyem for next year.

Thank you to all involved in putting our great show together, without the help and support of all the members involved the event would not have been such a success.
Thanks Gerard for posting the great photos that you took, I'm still trying to work out how to use Tapatalk :palm: (I know, Jason, Shane) and everyone else who has shown me or tried to explain how to use it, I still haven't quite got it. I have some great photos on my phone of the sun shining through in the afternoon and hitting certain trees and I will try to post those up soon.
Thank you to the great comments here too.
Now... start organising next year's Symposium...

I am not sure this format will enable people to read it easily but this is the catalogue of trees on show.

Great show, congrats to all involved, it takes a lot of effort to run these club events and for you guys and gals to do that within the first year (couple of months) - with the fantastic calibre of trees displayed, is a tremendous credit :worship: :hooray:

Great to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones (Marcela  ), just wish I wasn't so rushed with other appointments on the day :palm:

I'm one of those that likes the black backgrounds. Even the black matting stuck to the walls was far better than seeing bricks, and I thought an innovative (cost-effective) solution :tu:

Even picked up a nice TW pot :tu:

Well done all!
Cheers, Ryan
